Sycamore Cemetery

I always enjoy visits with the Bonner Boys at Sycamore Cemetery near Washington’s Oakdale city cemetery. Archeology is detective work. Working on more recent sites, such as Sycamore, the mystery is wrapped in history and tied with genealogy.  

Slow, careful excavation is necessary because each handful of earth might contain an important clue. The Bonner Boys are making excellent progress in adding details to historical records. Each surprising find is its own story, and it is also an addition to the larger story.
